My passion and intrigue with body work is rooted in my education I received from National Holistic Institute, a 720 hour program, in 2006. Since graduating I have worked in various settings–spas, chiropractic offices, and various events. Currently I am pursuing my Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, San Francisco. Needless to say, I enjoy incorporating my skills and knowledge of acupoints and Eastern massage techniques into my sessions. Last year in my graduate program I completed a new massage modality called Tui Na, or Chinese medical massage, which I’m really enjoying incorporating into my massages.

Having used massage to manage my own chronic pain from a snowboarding injury and a car accident, I know first hand the benefits of bodywork. I have an open, compassionate and mindful nature as I listen with my hands to create space for your body to let go of old holding patterns and to move toward one of harmony and ease. I works with a variety of clients, including those seeking relief from pain associated with repetitive stress like tennis elbow, sciatica, and tension headaches.

My passion and goal with every bodywork session is to address the concerns of my client, making sure their body and state of well being is enhanced and improved since the time we first greet. My personal policy is open communication so that we get the most out of the time we spend together. I encourage feedback, too. I believe it helps me improve my skills and helps you get the most of what you want out of the session. My integrative style flows between the edgy manipulation of soft tissue and soothing, subtle bodywork.

When I’m not studying or working I enjoy hanging out with my sweet doggy, Boo (aka Boo Boo when she’s being good), a Yorkie, Shi-tzu, Poodle mix, or a Yorkie Shitz Poo :-) , catching flicks, checking out good restaurants, heading out in nature to replenish my Good Qi, and going out dancing with my close friends and my honey.
